Keith Urban is preparing to release his brand new album on September 10th, and guess who inspired him while making FUSE? Here's a hint: It's not another country artist.
Keith found inspiration in Irish rockers U2. He tells Rolling Stone, "I really love what U2 did with Achtung Baby." Explaining that the album is different from anything that he's ever done before, he goes on to say, "Bono said, [Achtung Baby] had to be the sound of [U2] chopping down The Joshua Tree,' which I thought was great."
It sounds like fans will hear something they've never heard from Keith Urban before. So what can fans expect from FUSE? Keith explains that he worked with a number of different musicians on his new album including Dr. Dre's protege Mike Elizondo, Butch Walker who has collaborated with P!nk, and more.
Sounds like a real fusion! Fans can pre-order Keith's new album FUSE right now on his official website.
