Yellowstone actor Forrie J. Smith posted a video alleging he was “kicked off a plane” for refusing to sit next to another passenger who was wearing a mask.

Smith, 65, admitted that he’d “been drinking,” but was not drunk at the time he was apparently asked to get off the aircraft. He posted the video on Instagram over the weekend with the caption, “you need to hear this story.” It’s garnered more than 3,500 comments as of publication time on Monday (March 25).

“I just got kicked off a plane in — where the hell am I at? — Houston, Texas,” he said after a voice off-camera reminded him. “Because I told them that I didn’t feel comfortable sitting next to somebody with a mask on. Yeah, I been drinking. I been sitting in the airport for three hours, yeah, I’m drinking. I ain’t drunk. But they (threw) me off the plane because I’m drunk. Because you people won’t stand up and tell everybody what bullsh*t this is. I just told them I didn’t feel comfortable about sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask. And I’m off the plane.”

Smith is known for his role on Yellowstone, the hit series created by John Linson and Taylor Sheridan that premiered in 2018. The show follows “a ranching family in Montana (as they face) off against others encroaching on their land.” It also stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly, among others. Smith plays Lloyd Pierce. watch his video here (warning: language):
