Russell Dickerson And Wife Kailey Are 'Open' To Having Kids In Near Future

There could be another country music baby coming in the near future! Russell Dickerson and his wife Kailey recently revealed that they might soon be ready to become parents.

"You know, we're open to that," Dickerson said in a recent interview, when asked about becoming a father. 'We're ready. We get our own bus in July. In case, if that were to ever come about, then we'd be ready."

He went on to talk about how he's been positively influenced by fellow country stars like Tyler Hubbard and Thomas Rhett who manage life on the road with a family.

"There's so many people that we look up to and are so close to that have that example of how to have a family on the road," he says. "So it's again, [my friendship with] Tyler and TR and all that, it's just like the biggest blessing."

Dickerson and his wife, Kailey, finally got to meet Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins' newborn baby. Lennon Love was just born earlier this month on February 10.

"It was so awesome" Dickerson shared. "[She's] so tiny. And again, looks exactly like Thomas Rhett. I feel so bad for Lauren, because she's so beautiful."

"I'm like, 'You need a baby that looks like you, not Thomas Rhett,'" he joked. "But she's an absolute angel. She's so beautiful. And [she's] got the cute little little mohawk hair. And I commented on Thomas Rhett's picture the other day. It was like, 'She looks like you, but she's got hair like Uncle Russ.'"

Dickerson just released his new single, "Love You Like I Used To." This is the first glimpse he's given fans at his upcoming sophomore album. Take a listen to the new track below.
