Zach Bryan's Wife Shares Message To Country Star As He Releases New Album

Zach Bryan’s wife shared a tribute to the singer-songwriter after he released his sixth studio album, With Heaven on Top, on Friday (January 9).

Samantha Leonard, 28, said her Grammy-winning husband is “easily the most hard working, dedicated and talented man I know — all while being the kindest, most patient and attentive partner,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “From writing and recording all day to stuffing envelopes with me at night, loving you is the greatest gift. Congratulations my love. With Heaven on Top. 🤍” Bryan, 29, shared the message on his own story and wrote, “I paid her to say this, swear.”

Bryan and Leonard got married in a private ceremony in San Sebastian, Spain, the newlyweds announced on New Year’s Eve. The country star shared earlier this week that Leonard’s wedding dress included a sweet nod to his late mom. Bryan said “Samantha went out of her way to put my mom’s wedding dress lace on her dress and I cried for a good bit. Meant so much sweetheart, thank you.” Bryan seemingly referenced his relationship with his wife (and his ex-girlfriend and more) in several With Heaven on Top tracks; however, the “I Remember Everything” artist has not addressed his lyrics as of publication time.

Bryan described the album as “a collection of songs my band and me recorded across three different houses in Oklahoma this winter. The cool air kept us all inside staggering around each live take. I pray these all end up meaning as much to others as they mean to me. Songs are living things, they want to be free and these free’d me.

“I was in the throes for a long time and the simple statement of heaven being above me got me through a lot,” Bryan continued in a caption on Instagram. “Not my job to convince anyone of anything. I’m not trying to sell music. Music to me is God’s gift and it needs no competition or commentary. The last ten years I’ve tried my best to share the human experience. I feel like I’ve lived all my 20’s out on a very large, very lucky and very unfair stage but this one felt different. This one felt like recording music with my best friends again. I’ll always give my best and I’ll always be willin’. Thanks for listening and I will see everyone on the road.”
