George Birge recently confirmed he teamed up with country superstar Luke Bryan on a new collaboration, and iHeartCountry listeners can catch it one day early.
Birge had been teasing a mystery collaboration partner on social media, and last week, he revealed it’s five-time Entertainer of the Year Bryan joining him on the track. “Ride Ride Ride” is officially due to arrive on Friday (February 6); however, fans can tune into iHeartCountry and iHeartRadio’s country stations nationwide to hear it early on Thursday (February 5). Birge — known for “It Won’t Be Long,” “Mind On You,” “Cowboy Songs” and more — texted his mystery collaboration partner in a reel he shared on Instagram on January 28. He said in the clip that he “can’t believe I’m sending this,” and “there’s no way he’s going to say yes to this.” Birge considered the text he’d typed out and hit send.
Bryan, who had been sitting next to Birge the whole time, tapped the Texas-born country artist on the shoulder and said, “George. I’m right here.” Birge confirmed, “the boys are putting out a song together.” He said it’s a “summer ANTHEM,” perfect for a season with warm weather. “Ride Ride Ride” arrives with Birge’s headlining “Cowboy Songs Tour” underway. The run of shows includes Mackenzie Carpenter, Jake Banfield, Brian Fuller and Highway Home on select dates. Listen to a sneak peek of “Ride Ride Ride” here, and listen to iHeartCountry to catch the full song before its official debut.
