Luke Bryan Helped Jason Derulo Catch His First Fish At The Farm

Luke Bryan went from focusing on only music to really expanding his career into other avenues. For the second season Bryan is a judge on American Idol finding the next decade of artists along with Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. Besides music and American Idol, Bryan is about to release a new album in April and a line of beer in March. He stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk about all of the things happening in his life right now, and sharing details of his career the past decade.

Bryan's new album Born Here Live Here Die Here will drop on April 24th. He shared the first taste of the new album by sharing the title track earlier this month. Following the release of his new album, Bryan will head out on his Proud To Be Right Here Tour on May 28 in Cincinnati, Ohio with special guests Morgan Wallen, Runaway June, and Caylee Hammack. Despite all of the projects Bryan is working on, he shared with Bobby Bones that he's still writing 3 to 4 new songs a month, noting that he wrote a song last week that's probably one of his top 3 favorites of all time.

All of the song writing and concerts at specific venues have inspired Bryan to pursue another venture: beer. He's been working with the company Constellation Brands for the past several years to create the perfect beer and beer experience. It's called Two Lane American Golden Lager. Not only did he help create the brand, but he was an integral player in the process of making the exact taste of the beer. The beer will drop on March 2nd in the southeast states.

When he's not busy with all of his projects, Bryan likes to spend his time at one of his three bass lakes. He said that when he was a kid, the only thing he ever wanted in his life was his own bass lake. Now that he has had all of the success in country music, he made sure to get the one thing he always wanted. He noted that he loves when people come out with their kids or to learn to fish on his lakes. Dierks Bentley has taken his son to the bass lakes many times. Pop artist Jason Derulo is another person who came to Bryan's house and Bryan taught him how to fish for the first time. Bryan said that he loved watching Derulo catch his first ever fish and that's what his lakes are all about.

Bryan also answered some of the most googled questions about himself. The first being what kind of vehicles he has and he confessed that he has two cars, a Z71 Chevy Pickup Truck and a decked out Denali for carrying around his kids and their friends. He also answered how he was "discovered" and said that it was the right connection of about 5 or 6 important people that came together to support him. Before his very successful career, Bryan was in a band called Naomi Road that started in 1994 and disbanded in 2002.

You can catch Luke Bryan every Sunday on ABC for American Idol.
