TMSG:Listener Tracy was a "Liver Giver" for Her 4-Month-Old Son, Now He's 6

The Bobby Bones Show has requested listeners send in their personal "Tell Me Something Good" stories to bring some more happiness to the world. Listener Traci called in to share the story of "Brodie's Good Vibe Tribe."

When Traci and Russ Tigue's son Brodie was an infant, he was diagnosed with a rare liver disease at four months old. The disease was Billary Artesia and the only cure was a liver transplant. That same year, his mom Traci was able to donate a "sliver of her liver" to save his life. Post-transplant, Brodie and Traci are both doing awesome, and Brodie is over 6-years-old now.

During the journey, they created a Facebook Page called "Brodie's Good Vibe Tribe." The page was comprised of medical, technology, and faith communities that Tracie said "lifted us and carried us and our babies through this time." They took Brodie's Good Vibe Tribe and turned it into a non-profit as a way of giving back. The organization now helps individuals who are going through their year of organ transplantation.

Traci's hope is to continue sharing transplant stories to raise awareness. If Bobby Bones Show listeners have a transplant story, please share it via Brodie's Good Vibe on Facebook here or on their website here.
