Carly Pearce Reacts To Cody Alan’s 'ACM Single Of The Year' Fun Fact

Country stars are getting set for the upcoming ACM Awards happening Sunday, April 18th at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Ahead of the show, Carly Pearce dropped in with Cody Alan to share her excitement over her nomination alongside Lee Brice for their duet, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” where Cody revealed a fun fact that made Carly swoon.

“I wanted to tell you if you win, you will be only the fourth duet ever to do that,” shared Cody. “Do you know who the other four are?”

“No, but will you tell me?” squealed Carly.

“So, it would be, Dolly and Kenny. I mean royalty, right? Tim and Faith, and Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, and then you would join that elite group.”

Carly was stunned.

“I mean, you are talking about all of my heroes!” stammers the singer. “You are talking about the people that made me want to get into country music! So, the fact that I am even in a sentence that includes those people. Those are the moments that make you realize, “Oh, WOW! You are not in Kentucky anymore, like, this is real life. Just to see that I am sitting here with the ACMs, it’s like, WHAAAAAAATTT!”

Watch to see who wins this weekend! Let Cody know who you predict will be taking home a trophy at the 56th Annual ACM Awards by connecting on Twitter at @CodyAlan.
