I only kind of new what 'smash cakes' were for kids, so I don't get it...
You know how when you give a 1 year old a piece of cake on their first birthday, they just grab it with their hands and make a huge mess? That's a Smash Cake.
There's a rising trend of adults using Smash Cakes, and taking other trends parents have used to post about their children's birthdays, on social media. Another one is the chalkboard that says all the different things kids were into that year and what they want to be when they grow up. No idea if this is adults making fun of their parent friends on social media, or if they're genuinely doing it for fun, or maybe just for the likes. What do you think?
