BabyCenter released it's annual list of the most popular baby names this year as well as a bunch of names that have increased in popularity...or even appeared on the list for the first time!
It's interesting to see the ways pop culture influences name popularity. Like the game Fortnite has inspired parents to give their kids names like Ramirez, Leviathan, Bunny, and Rogue. I never played Fortnite so I wouldn't have known that's where these names were coming from.
Celebrities like the Kardashian/Jenners have had an impact on baby names too. Stormi, Dream, Saint, and Reign increased in popularity and you may recognize those as Kylie Jenner's daughter's name, Rob Kardashian's daughter, Kim and Kanye's son, and Kourtney's third child respectively.
