The latest research says that average Americans drink 3 cups of coffee every day. I think I typically hit two, but that's probably because I don't actually like the way coffee tastes and I try to limit my sugar intake so delicious blended coffee drinks aren't always an option. However, if you're drinking a little more than that don't worry! Actually reaching a lethal dose of caffeine is apparently not that simple because it would take a lot, but, the FDA does recommend no more than four to five cups, otherwise you may experience anxiety, increased heart rate, and of course trouble sleeping!
