On the evening of Monday, April 15 2019 in Paris, the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral caught fire. At the time of posting this, there has been severe damage to the roof, and the spire has collapsed, but French officials said firefighters are optimistic they can save the towers, and parts of the structure. Also at this time, I haven't seen any word or speculation on the cause of the fire, but obviously extinguishing the blaze is the top priority at this time.
