Luke Bryan Wins Top ACM Award

The 2021 ACM Entertainer of the Year award went to Luke Bryan, who wasn’t in attendance to accept the award but did appear by video via a live feed from his post at American Idol.

"Oh my God, y'all got me. I am amazingly surprised. What an honor,"said Luke as he thanked his team and crew."We've missed being on the road with everyone who makes me an entertainer," he added."We'll be back out on the road doing what we love ... I love you guys."

Eric Church, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, and Chris Stapleton were all nominated for the Entertainer of the Year award and they all performed live. Bryan was scheduled to pre-tape his performance but couldn’t due to testing positive for COVID-19. Bryan recently released a deluxe edition of his 2020 album, “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here.” His pushed back “Proud To Be Here” has been rescheduled to begin in May.
