According to the World Happiness Survey Finland is the happiest place on earth, and it has been for six years now! The survey gauged people's attitudes toward work, finance, and religion, as well as the climate. Personally, I know I feel happier in warmer months when there's more sunshine, so maybe the fact that the sun does not set in Finland from May to August may have something to do with their happy attitudes!
