Bunnie Xo shared a video of the moment her husband met the newest addition to his family, a donkey, on Instagram on Sunday (January 5). Jelly Roll excitedly stood up and fixed his hair — “first impressions last a lifetime” — as he stepped outside to meet the donkey for the first time.
“I’m excited. The donkey’s gonna love me. We’re gonna be friends forever,” the Beautifully Broken star said with a smile as he watched for a trailer pulling up to his home. Bunnie asked Jelly Roll whether he had a message he wanted to share with his pet donkey, and he replied, “I loved you from day one.”
When the donkey finally arrived, Jelly Roll could hardly believe his eyes.
“That donkey’s not that small!” Jelly Roll gushed. “This is the best donkey ever!”
The “Save Me” artist said later that he’s “worried. He’s a wild donkey,” he said with a laugh. “He’s a stubborn f***er. They’re struggling to get him in the fence.” Later, though, the donkey made it safely into his new fenced-in area. Jelly Roll stood by the fence smiling, and said to his wife, “I like the donkey. Look at him. I can’t believe he’s that small.”

“Yesterday my husband was upset everyone got a farm animal except for him. So today we had his own farm animal delivered,” Bunnie Xo explained in text that appears over the video. She wrote in her caption on Instagram: “Welcome to the family Griz! 🤍”
Bunnie previously shared that “our lil’ farm is starting” as she introduced three new cows: Crunch, Brownie and S’more.
