Brantley Gilbert helped one of his team members propose to his now-fiancée on stage during a recent show.

Gilbert shared a video of that moment on Sunday evening (March 30). The country star faked having “technical difficulty,” he told the crowd as he paused the show. He brought out his team member, Brandon, to help address the fictitious technical issue. Gilbert and Brandon called Brandon’s girlfriend, Lia, to the stage under the guise that she would help fix the problem.

“Sorry. This may be a little unprofessional, but this is one of my guy’s girlfriends here. She’s gonna kinda help us figure this out,” Gilbert said. He asked Lia to look out toward the audience, and with her back turned, Brandon got down on one knee. Fans cheered as Lia reacted in surprise, and said “yes” on stage. Gilbert’s heartfelt ballad, “She’s The One,” played as he shared glimpses of the couple’s engagement celebration and Lia showing her engagement ring for the first time.

Gilbert, whose wife welcomed Baby No. 3 on his tour bus in October, is currently on his headlining “The Tattoos Tour” after the release of his latest full-length album, Tattoos. The tour includes special guests Black Stone CherryTravis DenningAustin Snell and Payton Smith on select dates. See the remaining tour stops here.
