Faking A Smile At Work Could Lead to Unethical Behavior

A study out of Michigan State University found evidence that forcing yourself to fake smile at work when you're actually unhappy could lead to unethical behavior. The employees they studied who were fake smiling were more likely to drag out work so they could get overtime pay, they were more likely to hid errors they made while working or pass the blame to other co-workers, or even took credit for others work and success. According to the story a good solution would be for employers to create more positive and happy work environments, but I want them to test my theory that maybe if you just don't hide the fact that you're miserable you won't behave unethically.
