If you set New Year's Resolutions you've probably heard negative things from people about how "no one sticks to theirs" "most people quit their's in two weeks" and the like, but these tips will help your resolution not become a stereotype, but real goals that you can reach!
1. Make it as specific as possible: set concrete clearly defined goals that are not impossible to achieve. For example, don't just say you want to lose weight, say you want to lose 10lbs or 1lb per week. Make it specific.
2. Make a resolution with measurable progress, like the above 1lb per week example.
3. Be reasonable: so don't say you want to lose 10lbs per week, or other equally unattainable goals.
4 Be certain you're invested: choose a resolution you truly care about and not something you're feeling pressured into by others or society.
5. Set small goals within your overall resolution so you can hit milestones along the year: for example 1lb a week! As you continually reach that goal it will keep you motivated to keep going!
