Triple A is reporting that a record 49 million Americans will be travelling this holiday weekend. 41.4 million of those travelling will be doing so by car. If you're one of the people planning to drive out of town to celebrate the Fourth of July, do your best to avoid leaving on the 3rd and returning on the 7th, as those will be the days most others are travelling too. They're estimating leaving on the 3rd will cause your trip to be four times as long as it would on a normal day. They also recommend getting your car checked out before you leave so you're not one of the 367,000 motorists that Triple A estimate will be stranded due to car trouble!
