Since I spend so much time listening to true crime podcasts, I love unwinding with a cheesy romantic comedy! If it's set in another country with great accents, even better! This one checks all my boxes, ha! Basically the premise is that Christina Milian's character loses a job and goes through a break up in the United States so she enters a contest to win an Inn in New Zealand, and to the surprise of no one, she wins! Of course she has an awkward and embarrassing encounter with a very attractive man upon arriving in the new country, who she then unintentionally meets again later when he's the only person in the town who does the renovations she needs for her Inn. Cheesy and predictable? Yes. Am I still going to watch it while drinking wine and inevitably crying? You betcha!
