Washing Your Hands is Important, but so is Washing Your Jewelry and Watches

Studies have shown, according to the CDC, that the skin under your rings contains more germs than the skin on your fingers without rings. I always thought moving my rings while washing my hands with soap and water was good enough, but apparently a light scrub with a toothbrush and a few drops of dish soap might not even work 100% on some pieces of jewelry. It may be enough for some but depending on their intricacies and material they may need a UV sanitation. A UV sanitizer is also a great way to clean your phone. Disposable jewelry wipes and alcohol prep pads can work too, and the latter is what I used immediately after reading this article. Click the link in the tweet below to read it too!
