Studies have shown, according to the CDC, that the skin under your rings contains more germs than the skin on your fingers without rings. I always thought moving my rings while washing my hands with soap and water was good enough, but apparently a light scrub with a toothbrush and a few drops of dish soap might not even work 100% on some pieces of jewelry. It may be enough for some but depending on their intricacies and material they may need a UV sanitation. A UV sanitizer is also a great way to clean your phone.
