Apparently a biopic about rapper Vanilla Ice is in the works and Dave Franco is set to play him! While I can't help but think of Dave Franco as James' brother, he has had quite the career himself from 21 Jump Street to directing his own projects, and now he'll portray Rob Van Winkle's rise to fame after dropping out of high school. The movie is called To the Extreme which was also the title Ice's multi-platinum album in the 90s. Rob (Vanilla Ice) himself is helping with the film as Franco said, "Rob is such a sweet and intelligent guy and he's been super helpful in the process of getting all the details correct..."
