Right here, in our great state of Missouri, a tragedy has occurred. Okay, I'm not personally that devastated over the loss of some whiskey, but I know I have friends that are probably crying into their empty rocks glasses over this catastrophe.
Last week in McDonald County, MO a semi truck hauling 40,000 lbs of 80 proof Templeton Rye rolled while traveling south. It blocked the southbound lanes, and destroyed the 12,000 bottles of whiskey the truck was hauling from Templeton, Iowa to Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was considered a total loss and the amount of whiskey was valued at $325,000!
