As a woman, I have mixed feelings about my home state of Missouri landing at number 27 on the list. On one hand, it's not the worst, in fact it's right there in the middle so about average so it could be worse, but on the other hand it could be better! This list is based on WalletHub's analysis of median earnings for women, number of female owned businesses, amount of women living in poverty, and the female homicide rate in each state. They found the following states to be the best, as well as the worst for women in 2021. Check it out!
