Alonely is the New Lonely


Alone time, self care, whatever you want to call it, it's important and it seems like people haven't been getting enough of it lately. The new term for wishing you get more time to yourself is apparently "alonely." If this is ringing some bells for you, maybe it's time to carve out a little me time. It may seem counterintuitive since the pandemic has led to an overall increase in people reporting feeling lonely, a 65% increase in fact. But, on the other end of the spectrum couples and families that have been spending more time together with working from home and lock down restrictions this past year seem to be the ones feeling "alonely."
